Don't worry, I am still alive. I haven't blogged in a while because I spend all day on the computer at work and I don't have much free time to blog. Then when I get home, I don't feel like touching a computer. Well, I'm taking my lunch right now and I figured I should blog. I have nothing important to say, though I have a few things I have been wanting to blog about.
So, I watched the World Series and I concluded that the feature of Minute Maid park I dislike the most is the yellow line on the left field wall. Any ball that hits above it is a home run, even if it stays in the park and is playable. No inside-the-park should allow the runner to trot around the bases; an inside-the-park home run must be earned. Either make the park smaller or accept the fact that not as many home runs will be hit there. It makes it a challenge and impressive if a home run is hit over the wall (Congrats to Pujols on the hommer to the train).
My job here at Marathon is quite different from this summer at Ontario Systems. MPC is much larger, has more of a serious atmosphere and is not as intern-friendly. Overall things have been fine, but there are times when I have nothing to do and therefore get put on easy, repetitive jobs since the others can't take time out of their work to show me more advanced things. There have been some here who have been really helpful, though. One thing is certain- I miss life at Taylor!! And I'm glad I'm changing my major.
I love facebook. While I may be addicted, it has some good features. I'll blog about it Thursday on my other blog
I will be visiting TU this coming weekend, Nov 4-6th. Can't wait to see all of you on campus.
